After US President Donald Trump hiked the one-time H-1B visa fee to $100,000, US firms are planning to shift critical work to India which'll spurt growth of global capability centres (GCCs), Reuters reported, citing experts. "GCCs are uniquely positioned for this moment. They serve as a ready in-house engine," said Rohan Lobo, partner and GCC industry leader at Deloitte India.
