Chhattisgarh High Court convicted Amit Jogi, son of Chhattisgarh's first CM Ajit Jogi, in the 2003 murder case of NCP leader Ramavatar Jaggi. The court also directed him to surrender before the court within three weeks. This comes after the Supreme Court last year asked the High Court to reconsider the CBI's plea seeking permission to appeal against his acquittal.
