Home Minister and BJP chief Amit Shah on Sunday gave the reasons for choosing Yogi Adityanath as Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister after the BJP won the Assembly elections in 2017. Shah said that despite Adityanath not having any ministerial experience, PM Narendra Modi and Shah thought he was the right candidate because of Adityanath's dedication and capability to work hard.
