South African batsman Hashim Amla is the fastest batsman to score 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 5,000, 6,000 and 7,000 runs in ODI cricket history. Amla, who turns 35 today, had overtaken Team India captain Virat Kohli to become the fastest batsman to 7,000 ODI runs in May last year. Amla is also the only South African with a Test triple ton.
