A youth from Devidaspura village near Jandiala Guru, Amritsar, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Canada. The deceased has been identified as Simranjit Singh. According to the family, Simranjit had gone to Canada in 2023 for higher education and a better future. The family is distraught and has appealed for justice for their son.
