Aditya Puri, who retired as HDFC Bank's CEO after 26 years on Monday, was called an 'inspiration" by rival ICICI Bank in a tweet. "ICICI Bank thanks you, Mr Aditya Puri, for your contribution to the Indian banking industry...you've been an inspiration to many," the bank tweeted. Puri retired as India's longest-serving bank CEO as he turned 70.
