According to official reports, the sustained efforts of the Haryana government to combat anaemia are yielding significant results, with the state recording an overall 8.3 per cent reduction in anaemia prevalence. Government sources say this has surpassed the national target of a 3 percent annual decline set under the Anaemia Mukt Bharat (AMB) initiative.
