Analysis finds Bengaluru Metro costlier than other cities

A recent analysis found that a typical Bengaluru commute involving Metro travel and last-mile transport costs an estimated ₹3,520 per month. This compares with ₹2,772 in Delhi, ₹2,200 in Chennai, ₹1,980 in Mumbai and ₹1,760 in Kolkata, making Bengaluru’s estimated monthly commute cost the highest among the cities compared.
