Anand Deshpande's story: Left job in US & built ₹60,000 cr company

On 30th March 1990, Anand Deshpande left his high paying job at HP in the USA to start Persistent as a database management company. In 1994, he pivoted to technology services and software development as IT companies started opening up in India. Today, Persistent Systems clocks revenue of ₹9821.59 crore and is valued at around ₹61,000 crore.
