Ananya Birla's Svatantra Microfin has completed the acquisition of Flipkart Co-founder Sachin Bansal-backed Chaitanya India Fin Credit for ₹1,479 crore. Sharing the news on X, Ananya said the acquisition makes Svatantra the second-largest microfinance institution (MFI) in India with assets under management worth ₹13,000 crore. The deal was first announced in August.
