Ancient human remains found in El Salvador may rewrite history

Archaeologists in El Salvador uncovered 3,000-year-old human remains preserved under volcanic ash. The Antiguo Cuscatlán site featured a face-down skeleton, a turtle-shaped ceramic vessel, and rare cassava branches. Researchers will use DNA and radiocarbon testing to study the findings and compare them to the Chalchuapa site, shedding light on early Central American history.
