In a major thrust to Andhra Pradesh’s industrial growth, CM Chandrababu Naidu on March 23, laid the foundation stone for the Arcelor Mittal–Nippon Steel India (AM-NS India) integrated steel plant in Anakapalli district. The project, touted as the largest-ever investment in the state’s steel sector, is expected to significantly reshape the industrial landscape of the Visakhapatnam region.
