Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stopped his convoy and directed authorities to help a 15-year-old cancer patient get treatment after his friends stood with placards near Visakhapatnam airport. Neeraj, who was diagnosed with blood cancer, comes from a poor family, his friends told Reddy. The state has reportedly agreed to bear a cost of ₹20 lakh for his treatment.
