Andhra Pradesh government has appointed SBI's former Chairman Rajnish Kumar as economic advisor. "It's an advisory position. They need financial expertise in attracting investment into the state," Kumar said. Kumar, who retired as SBI's Chairman in October 2020, is also an exclusive advisor to Kotak's Special Situation Fund and an independent Non-Executive Director at HSBC Asia.
