The Andhra Pradesh government said that it has imposed the ban on the import of 'Totapuri' mangoes from Karnataka, to protect the interests of farmers in the state from low prices. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah wrote a letter to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart, N Chandrababu Naidu, and expressed deep concern over the ban.
