Andhra Pradesh launched the Amaravati Quantum Reference Facility (AQRF), India's first homegrown open-access quantum computing setup featuring two systems 1S and 1Q quantum testbeds. Both testbeds operate close to absolute zero (−273°C), ensuring quantum coherence and accuracy. With 85% of its parts made locally, the initiative aims to reduce reliance on foreign quantum infrastructure.
