US-based Andreessen Horowitz (A16z) is in talks to invest in CoinSwitch Kuber and if the deal goes through it will be the first bet by A16z on an Indian startup, media reports said. The proposed deal could value the Bengaluru-based firm at $1.9 billion. CoinSwitch was valued at over $500 million in Series B financing round in April.
