Andy Rubin, the Co-founder of Android, is reportedly working on a smartphone to compete with iPhone and Pixel in terms of price and features. Rubin is said to have created a new company called 'Essential' with former employees of Apple and Google. The phone, which will reportedly feature an edge-to-edge screen, will be manufactured by iPhone assembler Foxconn.
