An Anganwadi cook in Madhya Pradesh's Neemuch district died after saving about 20 children from a sudden bee swarm at her centre. Kanchan Bai Meghwal, who wrapped the playing children in tarpaulins and mats to protect them, was repeatedly stung and died after being rushed to the hospital. She is survived by her paralysed husband, a son, and two daughters.
