Angry over wife's sacking, man mixes cow dung in school sambar

A man was arrested in Tamil Nadu's Erode for forcing a student to mix powdered cow dung into sambar prepared under the state's free breakfast scheme for schools. Police said the accused, Arumugam, acted after his wife was dismissed as a school cook. Teachers detected unusual bitter taste while checking the food and stopped the contaminated portion from reaching students.
