Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani's net worth has shrunk to about $300 million, from at least $55 billion in 2008, according to Bloomberg. In contrast, his brother Mukesh Ambani is now Asia's richest man with a $54.3 billion fortune. The brothers split the family business empire in 2005 with Anil getting newer businesses such as power, telecom and financial services.
