Anil Ambani's Reliance Infrastructure plans to manufacture electric cars and batteries, Reuters reported. The company has hired a former Indian executive at China's BYD as an adviser and is also looking for partners including Chinese companies, the report said. The company plans to set up an EV plant with an initial capacity of about 2,50,000 vehicles per year.
