Animesh Kujur beats India's fastest man to win gold at Indian Athletics Series

Animesh Kujur clocked 10.21s to win the men's 100m final at the Indian Athletics Final Series at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Thursday. The 23-year-old from Odisha outpaced India's fastest sprinter Gurindervir Singh by 0.11s to win the race. Gurindervir had recorded a time of 10.09s at Federation Cup 2026 to set a new national record in men's 100m.
