Actress Anna Sawai created history by becoming the first actress of Asian descent to win the Lead Actress in a Drama Series award at the Emmys. Sawai won the award for her performance in 'Shogun', which won 18 Emmy awards. 'Shogun' star Hiroyuki Sanada became second Asian actor after Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game) to win the best drama actor Emmy.
