Anna Sorokin, convicted of scamming $275,000 from banks, hotels and wealthy elites by pretending to be a German heiress, has been released from an immigration detention centre in New York. Sorokin will remain in 24-hour home confinement and is barred from using social media. Sorokin posed as Anna Delvey and lied about having a $67 million fortune to scam others.
