Anthony Edwards to undergo knee surgery, could miss up to 2 months

Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee on Thursday and could miss up to two months, ESPN reported. He averaged 33.3 points in four games. ESPN said the absence would leave him short of the NBA's 65-game threshold for MVP and All-NBA honours, which could have made him eligible for a $304 million extension.
