Anthropic creating slaves if Claude is conscious: Religious leader

A religious leader told Anthropic that if the company believes its Claude AI models are conscious, then it is creating slaves by making conscious entities work for free, the NYT reported. "I think you should be fighting the South and freeing the slaves," Rabbi Mois Navon said. However, he added that he personally does not believe Claude is conscious.
