Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei returned to the negotiating table in a last-ditch effort to salvage a deal that allowed US' Pentagon to use Claude models, FT reported. This comes days after a public fallout between Amodei and Donald Trump over Anthropic's refusal to allow unrestricted access to Claude. Pentagon signed an AI deal with OpenAI, hours after cancelling Anthropic's deal.
