Anthropic has put its $200-million contract at risk by rejecting US Pentagon's demands to allow unrestricted use of its technology, saying "we cannot in good conscience accede to...request". CEO Dario Amodei said Pentagon threatened to remove Anthropic from their systems and designate it a "supply chain risk". Pentagon is seeking use of its technology for autonomous weapons and mass surveillance.
