Anthropic's $518 bn AI plans largely rely on non-cancellable deals: Report

Anthropic is set to invest nearly $518-billion over a decade to build AI infrastructure and is relying on non-cancellable deals for 80% of the sum, requiring to make payments regardless of usage, Reuters reported. The company, which has such deals with six partners, previously told investors that these commitments are necessary to secure sufficient computing power for advanced AI systems.
