Anthropic will enable local data processing for Claude in India through Amazon Bedrock, with the rollout beginning in coming weeks. The service is designed for banks, telecom firms, government agencies, and other regulated sectors that handle sensitive data. OpenAI and Google already offer similar services, making Anthropic the latest AI firm to launch the feature in India.
