Yoga guru Baba Ramdev claimed that an anti-ayurveda cartel of corporates, pharmaceutical companies, intellectuals and politicians has been working against Patanjali. Speaking to Economic Times, he said, "Patanjali denotes nationalism and self-pride which this [cartel] wants to destroy. People try to damage the reputation of Patanjali, about ayurveda and natural products."
