Mercedes' 19-year-old driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli finished 0.298 seconds ahead of his teammate George Russell in Qualifying to take the pole at Japanese Grand Prix. McLaren's Oscar Piastri closely followed, finishing 0.354 seconds later. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc claimed the fourth position. Notably, Verstappen was eliminated in Q2 and will start Japanese GP from 11th on the grid.
