Anupam Kher has joined the cast of Nitesh Tiwari's directorial 'Ramayana'. The veteran actor will portray Jatayu. Earlier, it was speculated that Amitabh Bachchan would lend his voice to the character. The film, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Yash as Ravana, will be released on Diwali.
