Apple's App Store generated nearly 94% more revenue than Google's Play Store in the third quarter of 2018, according to market analyst Sensor Tower. Approximately 66% of the $18.2 billion in mobile app revenue generated in Q3 2018 came from Apple's App Store. Meanwhile, Google Play earned $6.2 billion in Q3, up by 21.5% from the previous quarter's $5.1 billion.
