PM Narendra Modi on Friday extended greetings on World Environment Day and said, "I would like to applaud all those passionate about environmental conservation". He further added, "This is a day to reaffirm our commitment to protecting our environment." The PM also said that the people of India have shown that collective efforts and policies can help improve the environment.
