Apple has acknowledged that "a small percentage of AirPods Pro may experience sound issues" such as "crackling or static sounds" and faulty Active Noise Cancellation. Apple said it will replace devices with confirmed issues for free and that affected units have been manufactured before October 2020. The company published an "AirPods Pro Service Program" support page for the issue.
