Apple surpassed other big tech giants in terms of acquiring AI startups last year, Stocklytics reported citing data from Statista. While Apple bought up to 32 AI startups in 2023, Google came second with 21 purchases, as per Statista's estimates. Meta, Microsoft and Amazon acquired 18, 17 and 10 AI startups, respectively.
