Ahead of WWDC 2025, Apple's former-employees revealed the reasons for the delayed launch of large language models (LLMs)-based Siri. They said combining old machine learning code with newer AI models caused frequent bugs and slowed the development. Unlike ChatGPT or Gemini, which were built from scratch, Apple is trying to add its old system, which insiders describe as fundamentally flawed.
