Apple has filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to trademark the term "Slofie". Apple added the slo-mo video feature to its 2019 iPhone lineup's front cameras to record videos in slow motion, which it termed 'slofies'. The application was filed in terms of "downloadable computer software for use in capturing and recording video".
