A recently published patent of Apple has suggested it could be developing an Augmented Reality (AR) headset that would work alongside an iPhone to enable users experience an environment where images are overlaid on the real world. Prototypes reportedly communicate wirelessly with another device with a "custom Apple processing brain". Apple is reportedly aiming to release the headset next year.
