Apple may launch its smart home robot next year

Apple is reportedly developing an AI-powered home robot that could handle FaceTime calls and control lights, among other tasks. The device, potentially called HomeView Ultra, is expected to launch in 2027 for $1,000 or more, though delays could push its release to 2028. First approved by Tim Cook in 2018, the project is now being developed further under John Ternus.
