Apple has reportedly asked its major suppliers to assess the cost implications of moving 15-30% of their production capacity from China to other regions amid the US-China trade war. The countries being considered reportedly include Mexico, India, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. Reportedly, Apple has decided the risks of relying heavily on manufacturing in China are too great and even rising.
