Apple has appointed Michael Shapiro as its new corporate treasurer to handle the nearly $200-billion money pile following the retirement of Gary Wipfler, Bloomberg reported. It further said the company has promoted multiple executives to the vice president level, one of the highest-ranking positions in the company. Wipfler retired from Apple in recent weeks after 35 years at the company.
