Apple may hit $4 trillion stock market valuation due to AI enhancements aimed at revitalizing sluggish iPhone sales. Currently valued at approximately $3.86 trillion, Apple shares surged by about 16% since early November, adding nearly $500 billion to its market capitalization, Reuters reported. Reportedly, Apple stands to sell upwards of 240 million iPhones in the 2025 fiscal year.

Tokyo Olympic gold medal-winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra's reign as world champion ended on Thursday as he failed to defend his title at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. Neeraj came eighth in the final, finishing outside top two of an event for the first time in four years. Neeraj had finished in top two in 26 consecutive events.

Nvidia on Thursday announced that it will invest $5 billion in struggling chipmaker Intel. The chip giant also stated that it will jointly develop PC and data centre chips with Intel. "The companies will focus on...integrating the strengths of Nvidia's AI and accelerated computing with Intel’s leading CPU technologies and x86 ecosystem ," Nvidia said in a statement.

Sachin finished fourth with a best throw of 86.27 metres. Neeraj finished eighth with a best throw of 84.03 metres. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem finished tenth with a best throw of 82.75 metres.

US may soon scrap 25% penalty tariffs on India: Chief Economic Advisor

Chief Economic Advisor V Anantha Nageswaran said tariff dispute between India and US could be resolved within two months. He added the US may soon withdraw the 25% penalty tariffs on Indian goods, and talks are underway to reduce India's reciprocal tariff from 25% to around 15%. The US had imposed 25% penalty tariffs over India’s purchase of Russian oil.

It clarified that no member of the public can delete votes online. On Rahul's claim that 6,018 voter names were deleted in Karnataka’s Aland constituency, the ECI said deletion attempts were made in 2023 but failed and no votes were removed.
