Apple Pay to launch in India in October with UPI support: Report

Apple Pay could finally launch in India in October, over a decade after its 2014 US debut, Hindustan Times reported. The service may support UPI and card payments. Axis Bank is expected as the first partner, while HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank talks are ongoing. UPI support at launch remains unconfirmed.
