Apple quietly excludes older iPhones from new camera feature

Apple has changed its stated compatibility for the new Texture and Grain controls in Photographic Styles. The company initially said the feature would work on iPhones supporting the latest Photographic Styles, including older models like iPhone 16 and 17 series. Apple now says the controls are limited to iPhone 18 Pro models and specific cameras on iPhone Duo.
