Apple removed messaging apps Signal and Telegram from its App Store in China shortly after it removed WhatsApp and Threads over the Chinese government's national security concerns. Apart from these apps, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and even Wikipedia are unavailable to Chinese users. "We're obligated to follow the laws in the countries where we operate, even when we disagree," Apple said.
