Apple has renewed talks with Sam Altman-led OpenAI about using its generative AI technology in some of the new features that'll feature in the yet-to-be-launched iOS 18, Bloomberg reported. Apple is also holding discussions with Google about licensing the Gemini chatbot. iOS 18 may also include features based on Apple's in-house LLM, an AI software that can generate human-sounding text.
