Apple has released the list of its most downloaded apps of the year. Whereas Facebook Messenger topped the list of free iPhone apps, YouTube bagged the top spot on the free iPad apps list. However, most profitable apps for 2014 overall list was dominated by gaming apps like Clash of Clans and Candy Crush Saga among others.
